I hope you can join us for the closing reception of Ann LePore’s Upward Mobility, a site-specific installation that is as much homemade cinema as it is giant boombox radiating ethereal sounds.

“The images and installations I create are heavily influenced by my experiences not just as an artist, but as a member of a community that is defined by the physical assertions and limitations of a very specific environment,” LePore says.
